Green hosting companies are not created equal. Most offer the minimum amount of environmental commitment, or the minimum amount of service, support and technical reliability.

Before we started Little Web Feet we first grew frustrated with "green" hosts who weren't really green. Then, after finding some green (and expensive) hosts, we grew equally frustrated by the fact that they weren't really hosts, (to us the term "host" should only apply to companies who can provide reliable servers which don't crash on a regular basis, tech support who actually write you back, email servers which actually deliver email, and companies who keep their promises.

Throughout it all we remained convinced that being green doesn't have to equal expensive, unreliable technology or non-existant customer service.  We still dared to dream of having it all. And we weren't going to rest until we found it!

And so began Little Web Feet. We became the host we always dreamt of: a backbone of environmental committment - reliable and fast servers - easy to talk to tech people - and affordable rates.

When it comes to providing excellent design and reliable and fast hosting services we give the environmentally conscious consumer a real alternative.

	was built and furnished with recycled or FSC wood and eco-friendly or recycled furniture and materials

	is 90% paperless, uses 100% post consumer waste recycled paper at all times, vegetable based ink and waterless printers, and has a no disposable container and BPA plastic policy
	OUR SERVERS
	are high performance and low-voltage
	use 60% less energy and generate 50% less heat
	are entirely virtualized, which uses far fewer energy resources by consolidating sites onto more efficient servers
	offsets 110% of all power used
	contributes to reforestation projects at levels exceeding the overall draw of the infrastructure by at least 10 percent
	housed in an award winning data centre (awards for reliability and customer service)
	recycles 100 percent of all recyclable hardware components
